- Traditional Fabric-Dye Factory Display - In collaboration with Epson Malaysia for artistic fabric printing
- Turning Waste to Art - Meet "The Lady" sculpture, designed and hand-sculpted by Alice Chang (Lai Lai Art) at the entrance of Kwai Chai Hong. This exquisite sculpture is made from hundreds of porcelain pieces from repurposed Chinese porcelain bowls, plates, teapots, cups/mugs, and more.

I am glad that the event eventually became a content creator gathering especially for photographers and models. Kwai Chai Hong 鬼仔巷 Everlasting Beauty 万寿无疆 SHOWCASE:

The installation of ‘Everlasting Beauty 万寿无疆’ took 2 days for us to transform the back alley into what it is now. From the production team behind the installation of the bamboo stilts and the draping of the digitally printed fabric by @epsonmalaysia, to the tech team for the cabling and lighting installation, to the artist Norman Khek @normankhek on the restoration of the mural paintings, and then the artist Alice Chang @lailaiart.chang behind the now popular permanent installation of The Lady 小姐 Sculpture and The Rooster Family wall art, everyone is just so determined to make it work running on a tight schedule.
The end result - a transformation so meaningful, we are blessed with so much appreciation from the public. Have a view of the behind-the-scenes setup in what “The Making of the Everlasting Beauty Art Installation at Kwai Chai Hong” looked like.
Everlasting Beauty 万寿无疆 installation will be on display from now until 2nd May. Open daily - 9am to 12midnight. Strict SOP applies and please respect the art on display and appreciate them with your eyes - ‘DO NOT TOUCH’ the Sculpture, Wall Art and Murals.
