It's been two months since my last post, transitioning from blogpost and focusing on visual content creation on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok has been occupying most of my time so I somehow neglected my blog. But because recently got IG friends PM me saying that my blog post helped them. It made me want to do a quick write up at here today.

Okie, back to the topic.Today post is to share my recent unboxing video of Nikon Z5 the entry level full-frame camera, AND also higher resolution of test-shots taken using Nikon Z5 with the 24-50mm kit lens so you know what you can get if you buy this new Nikon full-frame camera kit.

Together with my photography buddy Gary, we did the Nikon Z5 camera unboxing video at Nikon Experience Hub (NEH) @ Jaya One. A place for you to try out all Nikon camera and lenses in KL. I will keep this post simple with all the photos taken using the Nikon Z5 with 24-5-mm kit lens and 35mm F1.8 for night photos capturing the beautiful corner in Kuala Lumpur and Puchong. I test shot the Nikon Z5 as a new full-frame camera. From day to night and checking how it perform on a daily usage. If you are a camera user that prefer to shoot wide AND low light. You're gonna start loving this full frame entry level Z5 camera more.
In short, Nikon Z5 is truly an entry level of full-frame mirrorless camera when you compare to Nikon Z6/Z7. You can still get most of your job done with the much bigger sensors on Z5 as it perform really well at night. Lighter in weight and best thing is you can charge your camera through USB-C port and STILL USING AT THE SAME TIME (This feature is not available on Z6/Z7)

Comparing Z5 vs Z6 vs Z7. Which should I choose?
If you love shooting fast action, like really really fast like a footballer striking his goal, water droplets dropping and all kinds of super-fast frozen moment. Go consider Z6/Z7 as they can shoot 11 frame per seconds (fps) when compared to Z5 4.5 fps. The pro-side of getting the Nikon Z5 is that you can ease your wallet and invest the extra money saved on a great lens. Which lens should you get? It depends, you can get the 16-35mm for wide shots, 24-70mm for versatile working lens, or if you love prime lens, consider the 35mm, 50mm, 85mm and so much more!!For video side, since Z5 is the entry level full-frame. You don't have the 120p super slowmo video feature. But you still have the 60p video mode where you can sill slow it down 50% for gentle cinematic feel. Hope I got more time on the Z5 next time to show you it's video quality. After all, it has 1.7x crop when compared with Z6/Z7 full sensor shooting.
