10D9N Travel Itinerary Romantic Chuncheon - Relaxing Gangneung - City Seoul
|
Travelling to Korea (Chuncheon - Gangneung - Seoul) is very different this time as it is a self-planned trip where I plan my own travel itinerary according to the research online, and this is my wife first time visiting the beautiful Korea too. Since we have decided it is a free and easy trip, the itinerary below was just a reference and we adjust it accordingly to our mood (most of the time we have simple breakfast so we can rest more). There are certain places that we didn't plan to stay long but ended up spending more than half a day over there because there's more beauty that I would like to admire from that location. Here's a summary of our 10D9N Travel Itinerary to Chuncheon and Gangneung area in (Gangwon), then we proceed to the city side of Korea - Seoul.
Personally, we both love the slower pace when travelling in Chuncheon and Gangneung although less people can speak English. There are more beauty of the natural scenery and basically people here living in a much more relaxing pace, where we can really relax and just enjoy the environment; On the other hand, Seoul is a city with busy traffic whole day long but it is a paradise for shoppers and amazing architecture exist in this place, it was still very happening even during late night. Unexpected event during our trip to Korea has made this travel journey even more fun! For example, Seoul Fashion Week at DDP Dongdaemun Design Plaza, temple festival with local food market at Woljeongsa Temple and many more!
Traveling in Korea is much more easier when you have installed these apps on your phone: Google Translate, Naver Map, Kakao Taxi. Don't forget to get Discover Korea Your Way (DKYW) Booklet from KTO Malaysia so that you can enjoy more perks and discount using the vouchers and travel recommendation in it too. KYW
Below are my Korea travel itinerary in summary and I hope this can help you planning your trip.
