MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE SPOTS IN KUALA LUMPUR 2019
THE MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE MALL IN KUALA LUMPUR 2019 |
If you google about the Top 10 instagrammable/ instaworthy spots to go in Kuala Lumpur. You'll get a list of results on the internet already. For sure you will visit Petronas Twin Towers, Batu Caves, Thean Hou Temple, Alor Art Street in Changkat Bukit Bintang, KL Eco-Forest Park (Taman Eco Rimba KL), Federal Territory Mosque, Astaka Morocco and Putra Mosque in Putrajaya.
However today I would like to share this brand NEW addition of instagrammable place in Kuala Lumpur to the list. This place is actually a mall in the heart of KL (walking distance from KLCC) and if you love arts and nature being combined with the architecture. You'll definitely love this place. Let's have a look what they have over there.

Instead of removing all the nature from the property, this mall has keep the big old trees within its compound and build a structure around it. Hence you'll able to capture a sense of nature in this place.
Saw this huge colorful owl mural art on the wall right after I park my car. Besides it has the colorful letter box corner for instagram photo too. They play a lot with colors to make this place looks vibrant.
Another photo of the big owl mural together with the huge tree. I wonder how it looks like at night. There seems to be a lantern light right on top.
There are a lot nature based murals art on the walls too. Just find your favourite corner and take photos with it. Each corner has different color tones and artworks. Sometimes they incorporate the element of the building as part of their mural art. (eg. the Bomba hose can become octopus, the window of the mall become part of the wooden houses)
It is best to go with your friends so you get to take better OOTD and Instagram photos in this place. I was there alone so a mini tripod was the only photography assistant I ever have. Here's a picture of me with the forest and butterfly.
The huge tree was surrounded by the building yet maintain the space for it to grow. I am not sure how they are going to trim the trees when it grow bigger and taller. But so far I feel that it fits quite well in this space and you can have a cool ambiance here.
Now let's go to the highlight of this art installation inside the mall. I can see the artist have put so much efforts in decorating the air space with 41,600 colourful paper doves in rainbow colors hanging in the air according to the color tones. It was the great idea and efforts that made this corner worth a visit. For now the space is pretty empty right now hence you can take your time taking photos underneath it.
There's not much shop open around it yet hence your photo will look cleaner from certain angle. Here's a special mention, you can visit HauntU - An immersive horror experience with amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, and scenes in a truly unique and exciting walk-through experience that you see, hear, touch, smell and feel. It’s a haunted experience. It’s like watching a filming of a movie, but the difference is, you are part of the movie as you make your way through the halls of Colle Eastern Hotel.

Here's a closer look of the colorful paper doves installed in this space. I wonder how long does it take to complete this whole thing. I guess some prefer to call them dove instead.
"This rainbow of peace doves, suspended above the centre court at Level 2 was crafted by PPB property division staff and their family members. "
Do pay a visit around noon time for the natural and sunlights shine through the doves. Different angle will give you different visual experience too. Even is you shoot straight from below, you will able to get a color gradient look of these paper doves. Truly appealing to the eyes.
Went for a quick walk in B.I.G. (Ben's Independent Grocer) and there are several instagrammable corner too. Love how well organized and colorful when looking at their interior and sign boards. Even the Dairy and Frozen corner looks cute with the neon-lights.
If you love gardening and plants, go visit PASU right beside the parking entry, it has many exotic look plants available for sale. There were so many plants that I've never seen before, just like Plant and Pot Studio in Puchong.
Here's the colourful stairs within the compound of the LINC KL. I think all of the art installation within the mall has their name and details hanged somewhere on the wall. Like this colorful stairs, the artist profile is right at the wall. Haven't think of what pose to do here so plainly posting architectural photo of this space.

There are several instagrammable corner within the restaurant too. Use your creativity to find that unique angle for your instagram posting.

Warning! Entering Non-Halal Zone @ The LINC KL Ben's Independant Grocer |
Have fun exploring this place, just beware if you are entering Non-Halal Zone in B.I.G. (Ben's Independent Grocer). I hope you like this instagrammable place as I do. Do pay a visit before the mural art color fade off like the Batu Caves stairs.
All photos are taken using the Samsung Galaxy S10+ #withGalaxy. The ultra-wide lens has help me capture the interior of The LINC Mall very well. Low light performance is pretty good too! I would like to know what do you think about these pictures taken using the smartphone.
