Ever since I have an own space together with my love one to decorate, other than thinking of which refrigerator, washing machine and furniture that is suitable for our place. A TV with minimalist and modern design is what I am looking for. Hence when Samsung sent me an invite to check out their latest 2018 TV series, I had to go just to experience it myself. 

Departed from home as early as 9am, followed up with close to an hour journey to Black Box, Publika for Samsung 2018 QLED TV launch. Glad that the traffic wasn't that bad.

One of the main feature that attracted me is Samsung Q Style: Magic Screen. The Magic Screen is an energy saving function that allows the TV to elegantly display images as well as real-time information such as the weather or news. For wall-mounted TVs, Magic Screen can mimic the pattern on the wall behind the TV to create an astonishing visual effect in which the TV blends seamlessly into the wall.

Other than that, I love that Samsung TV came up with One Invisible Connection, the solution to eliminate cable clutter. This one cable has integrated power cables and data lines that were previously separated to allow the TVs to harmonise with the surrounding aesthetic. Available up to 15 meters, it frees consumers from having to place their TV near data or power outlets. As a minimalist design love, I like this very much!

Samsung Q Picture: 100% Color Volume - Deliver deep blacks and pure whites

If you are a photographer, you will understand how important it is the highlight and shadow of a picture. With Samsung Q Picture, this technology create more stunning picture quality with pristine contrast, the TVs feature its new Direct Full Array, which uses a panel with zones of smartly controlled backlighting that adjust automatically to deliver deep blacks and pure white. This reduces blooming and halo effects and enables deeper contrast, with inky blacks and brilliant whites.

My picture above might not able to tell the difference, therefore it is best that you check out Samsung QLED TV at available show-house and see the difference for yourself. The major difference can be seen when you are watching super bright video (eg. snow scene) and super dark scene (eg. underwater documentary or horror movie)

Samsung Soundbar that occupy only tiny space of your living room

On the same day, Samsung offers four new audio products that offer clear and immersive sound tailored to the different ways that individual consumers set up and use their home theatre systems. HW-N650 designed for games, features Acoustic Beam Technology that puts consumers at the center of the action; HW-NW700 soundbar features a wall-mounted design that perfectly complements QLED TVs so that they both blend beautifully into any home environment.

Just look at the picture above, doesn't it looks clean and neat with both a new TV and sound system that's all in one bar? Oh well, my wall wouldn't be this design  then, it will be plain white or some other plain color with minor texture.

As a person who love gadgets that can improve lifestyle, my future gadget and electrical device must be smart that ease our life and improve living quality. Samsung SmartThings is getting more and more user friendly nowadays, I connected it with my Note 8 to showcase some of the photos that I took in Alaska. It wasn't in 4K resolutions but I feel happy when I saw my picture being portrayed beautifully on the Samsung 2018 QLED TV.

If you have different Samsung products, they are all intelligent enough to be linked together through SmartThings. You will receive notification on your TV or smartphone when your cloth wash is completed. I guess that's how the future home gonna be.

As a photographer, I love the idea that I can showcase my photography and videography portfolio seamlessly through SmartThings wireless sharing. The only thing that stops me now, is the higher tier price since QLED TV's technology is considered very new. Just like when SSD harddisk was launched, it cost us a bomb. Then is slowly become more affordable when time pass and newer technologies has been invented.

For now, let's take a picture with the beautiful photo frame, I mean Samsung QLED TV and sound bar so that I can visualize my future house better. If you've ask me, I quite like 'The Frame' too.
