Lee Chong Wei : Rise of the Legend 李宗伟 败者为王 movie premiere at Bukit Jalil National Stadium |
It was a great experience stepping into the huge stadium, I actually like the color combination of the stadium. Yellow chairs, green field, blue sky, and red running tracks. What a perfect place for portrait photography actually!
The weather was really hot and I was sweating so much that multiple cans of 100 Plus is not enough to cool me down. However that's a good sign for the outdoor 40m LED screen.
The 100-metre Red Carpet Walk was pretty long and welcoming Malaysia badminton greats, actors and actresses of the movie. Since the venue was huge, there were sharing session with the guest son one stage, then another stage area for the red carpet. Since I was not the official photographer of the event, I took my own sweet time capture their candid moments. It definitely doesn't meet my usual requirement but I believe these are meaningful memories for the person in the photos. Do feel free to check out the red carpet photos and spot yourself. Share with your friend if you saw them in here! Because if I am one of the guest walking on the red carpet, I would like to see my photos taken during this special event.
It was a pretty huge event that you need to have total SIX emcees that speak different languages to accommodate we Malaysians hahaha. They were speaking is Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese. So far I haven't encounter press event where emcee speak Tamil all together (not that I would able to understand la but 1Malaysia ma right? hahaha)
All right, a series of red carpet photos for you guys, movie sponsors, director, special guests, actors, actress and Datuk Lee Chong Wei with his family appeared on the 100m red carpet.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE MOVIE LEE CHONG WEI: RISE OF THE LEGEND?
In my opinion, this 133 minutes long movie is good to tell the story of the legend Lee Chong Wei in a more dramatic way. Dramatic as in there are love story involved, the special talent that the young version Lee Chong Wei have, and of course climax at the badminton match. Overall, I like the cinematography skill presented in this movie. A big applause for the production team who found someone who look so alike to Datuk Lee Chong Wei.
