Hope you start to fall in love with diving or love it even more after watch this video! Below will have some photos captured solely using FDR-X1000V Action Cam and simple edit using Adobe Lightroom. I love the 170 degrees wide photos and you will definitely able to see it from pictures below.

Below are some of the underwater photos taken using FDR-X1000V when I am not recording video. Since I can't control the focus of the device, it all depends on how smart the recorder's system. So far most of the time photos are in focus unless you placed your action cam too near to your subject. Perhaps in future Sony would just come out with a macro lens adaptor for this action cam??
