My favourite shot of Martin Yan |
Martin, 67, who has been hosting cooking shows for 36 years is not just a celebrity chef but an established culinary scholar and is the founder of the Yan Can International Cooking School in the San Francisco Bay area. Apart from owning the chain of Yan Can Restaurants, he is also known for hosting numerous cooking shows on TV and writing recipe books since 1982 when he rose to fame in the “Yan Can Cook” culinary series. The 3,000 episode programme was shown in over 60 countries, hence making him one of the most popular celebrity chefs around the world.
If you don't watch 'Taste of Malaysia' every Saturday and Tuesday on ntv7 and 8TV, you will be like this tomato *evil* |
Hahaha! Above is just a funny photo that I can't resist to post it up. Martin was talented enough to slice the tomato up to 20++ pieces and I was really impressed with his skill!! Learnt how to smash garlic like a pro using his knife too. He was so entertaining during the cooking demo in "Taste of Malaysia" Press Event. I think you will definitely love to watch his latest cooking and travel show.
I just hope that I can learn either his cooking/hosting skills by watching that show. With that, my YouTube won't be that plain anymore hahaha. It was good to meet you Chef Martin Yan =) Hope to see you again!!
