With some modern twist to the old architecture, it has become a place that maintained the old school structure yet have the modern deco and design within (especially the light that has been photographed hundred thousand times) . Below are my takes to show you the interior of the VCR Cafe the #TCFishEye way.

I was there quite early to meet a friend for a photoshoot. You should go there early to avoid the crowd. The moment I arrived at the front door, I saw the house cat of VCR having sun bathing near the ladder. Licking himself as a way to welcome you to VCR.

The whole building is in black so you can spot it easily as long you are at Jalan Galloway. Just use Waze/Google Map to navigate to this place. There were around four baristas ready to serve you and the food and drink menu is right at the counter. You can always ask the barista for recommended coffee or even customize it to fit your personal taste. I personally don't know much bout coffee hence a cup of latte with beautiful art on it will makes me happy.

The King, Lemon Curd Cheescake, Rasberry Cheescake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Black Velvet, Poppy Seed Cake. Some of the cakes are from
Frost and Flourish.

I remember their toilet. They have a unique door that you need to learn how to open and close. I believe the owner of VCR put much efforts in designing this place. Everything just look so in place.

Instead of just coffee and cakes, they do offer other meals like big breakfast too. (Eg. Turkish Style Eggs, Potato Waffle, French Toast, Granola, House Salad)
VCR BIG BREAKFAST
House made stewed beans, chicken chipolata, grilled tomatoes mushroom fricassee, two free range eggs in any style on sourdough beef bacon or turkey ham.
I guess it was RM32 for this VCR Big Breakfast. It was really really big that I can't finish them all by myself. Best to share with a friend. This is a western style breakfast so don't expect to have ketchup kind of heavy taste ;p

The reason why I like VCR is because of it's unique interior design. It is all black at the exterior but give you a different kind of feel when you got in. It is best to drop by early in the morning as you get to have morning breeze sitting outdoor at 1st floor. I believe Astro CNY Video came here for their MV shoot too.
If you got yourself a cup of sour coffee and not satisfied with it, do feel free to inform the counter/barista as they will replace a new one for you or even a refund. We Malaysian should be more brave stating out the obvious face to face instead of secretly leaving bad review online. Because you yourself might have given up a chance for them to fix the coffee/food =)

ESPRESSO
Espresso served in porcelain demitasse cup (2oz/70ml)
I still remember the first time I ordered a Espresso in a coffee shop I was stunt when I saw a small serving provided. So if you are not sure about what you want, just check out their drink menu as they have stated the serving size for different drink too. Best still is the Mocha/Latte which served in bigger cup haha.

Since it is illegal to park your car around VCR Cafe (yellow lines are everywhere), you can choose to park your car at Swiss-Garden to avoid parking fines. I parked at the neighbourhood parking behind the cafe so it was FREE hehe.
