OJ LAW @ AMPLIFY MUSIC MADE OF MORE | KL LIVE

Hello guys, it is gonna be Monday again (very soon) so here's another post about Guinness Amplify Music Made of More featuring DASH (Darren Ashley and the band), OJ LAW and MAGIC!. Both me and my girlfriend were the invited guest and we were given some drink tokens to redeem Guinness during the event. Well, to be honest, if they allow me to bring in my own camera especially DSLR to capture some precious moments of the music artists I will be much happier haha.

Anyhow, I brought along two camera - SONY RX100 first edition and Samsung NX30 Smart Camera for this event. Both DASH and OJ LAW's performance were captured using Sony RX100 and I wish I can have their latest SONY RX100 v3 to take better photo. Sony RX100 so far is still the most compact camera you can bring into a concert/music showcase.

Guinness AMPLIFY Music Made of More Drink Tokens

It is kinda cool to see the drink token has been changed to solid plastic chips instead of papers. At least it wont get wet easily haha. Instead of the usual concert bracelet, we were given and put on with a simple yet cool Guinness Amplify cloth material bracelet. Totally different feel, which is in a good way.

I was expecting to see both Bihzhu and Froya to perform too but well only DASH and OJ Law were being scheduled for Amplify Finale Night. Anyway, here's some photos and video of DASH and OJ Law. I enjoyed the closing by DASH where there were 5 person playing the same drum set.

I am still new to OJ Law's music but I kinda like their song "My Life As A Film". A different kind of music genre and I believe it has manage to grab my attention. You may wanna listen it here:

I believe if OJ Law has some stylist friends who style and dress them up well, it will definitely give better impression to the audience =) Like Darren Ashley from DASH, he is always with his sparky red hair while the lead vocal in Paperplane Pursuit has blue hairs. Gotta have something easy to remember as their signature right?

Not sure if you've figured out what's the signature of me when I attend event haha. Have a guess!!

Oh yeah, the Amplify event open for entry since 8pm but performance only start at 9pm and so on. Magic! came out around 11pm something and I personally think that the waiting time is a bit too long. There was no chair so we have been standing since 9pm till the end of the show. I am not complaining but I surely salute ladies who wear high heels throughout the whole event. I wonder how they get through the /pressure pain whole night long.

Anyhow, thanks my lovely girlfriend for accompany me this time and we definitely need to find elevated chairs in our next music geek haha. I had a mild back pain after the event but I guess it just age catching up ha? (Photographer always get these you know, so take good care of them when they take nice photo of you haha)  Just gonna need some Yoga sessions to ease the muscle tension.
