Oh My English! (OME!) is back with a brand-new second season. Featuring new cast members, exciting storylines and all-new English lessons, Oh My English! Season 2 promises viewers two times the fun and two times more learning. Fans of Oh My English! can look forward to the premiere of Season 2 every Sunday at 7.30pm, starting from March 31st on Astro TVIQ (Ch 610) and in high definition (HD) on Astro Mustika HD (Ch 134).
Following the phenomenal response towards Oh My English! last year, the development of the second season reinforces Astro’s commitment to encourage lifelong learning among young Malaysians by combining education with entertainment. Oh My English! aims to inspire Malaysians to improve their conversational English via a multi-media 360 degree approach that encompasses the Oh My English! TV series, Astro red button applications, short video clips, a dedicated website, games, workshops in schools, an educational bookazine, radio capsules, social media sites and more.

Oh
My English! was first launched in May 2012 and received overwhelming
support from the public at a level which was unprecedented for an
educational programme. Oh My English! resonated strongly with millions
of Malaysians, winning fans nationwide, and even the programme name was
adopted as a popular catchphrase among young Malaysians.
Season
1 of Oh My English! garnered more than 3.6 million TV viewers, over 8.4
million YouTube views and 430,000 Facebook fans. Besides that, it was
the most-watched show on Astro-On-The-Go and generated huge traffic to
the Oh My English! educational website, and the phrase Oh My English!
was also one of the top trending topics on Twitter in 2012.

Even the Oh
My English! theme song, performed by Liyana Jasmay and Altimet, was a
hit single that climbed into the nation's radio charts. The success of
the series led to the creation of the Oh My English! bookazine, and
70,000 copies of the first edition were printed and distributed.

With 20 new episodes, Oh My English! Season 2 will
continue its formula of combining humour with education to help viewers
improve their conversational English. Loyal fans of the series will be
thrilled to know that their favourite characters from class 3 Merah will
be returning, such as Jibam (Akhmal Nazrin), See Yew Soon (Roax Tan),
Shafiq (Aedy Ashraf), Azlin (Izara Aishah), Mazlee (Md Zhafir Muzani bin
Mohamad), Anusha (Kaameshaa d/o Ravindran), Farouk (Amer Sharrif bin
Rashid), as well as the show's beloved teachers Mr. Henry Middleton
(Zain Saidin), Pn Hajar (Adibah Noor), Encik Salleh (Harun Salim Bachik) and Mr. Os also returns to the series as the janitor Pak Sham.

What's
even more exciting is that Oh My English Season 2 will introduce new
characters played by some of the country's biggest stars. ABPBH winner
Aaron Aziz joins Oh My English! Season 2 as the new Physical Education
teacher, Cikgu Malik who coaches the school's football team. Another
great addition is leading actress Tiz Zaqyah who will play the school's
new BM teacher, Cikgu Ayu. Two bright young talents join as new
students: Best Supporting Actor in FFM25, Syafie Naswip as the
rebellious Azlan, and rising star, Iezahdiyana as the bubbly new girl
Hani. The addition of new characters such as Cikgu Malik, Cikgu Ayu,
Hani and Azlan adds colour to the show and Oh My English! promises
exciting and surprising storylines between the established cast members
and the newcomers.

Fans will also be happy to know that there
will be numerous cameo appearances from popular stars. Due to popular
demand,
Lisa Surihani and
Rozita Che Wan will return to the show. In
Season 2,
Datuk Aznil Haji Nawawi, Nur Fazura, Hitz.fm DJs - Jin and
Ryan, Rykarl, Joe Chang, Gabriella Robinson and
Yus Jambu (Raja Lawak)
will join Oh My English! Season 2 as well.
With a star-studded
cast and humour-filled storylines, Oh My English! Season 2 promises to
entertain, but the educational value of the show remains a top
priority. Astro has once again partnered reknowned global English
language specialist, the
British Council, to create the educational
content for Oh My English! including the new-and-improved animated
learning capsules embedded in the show. Viewers can improve their spoken
English through OME's bite-sized lessons on vocabulary, grammar,

Went to Sekolah Wawasan for the first time and it reminds me of my
primary school life, I wouldn't be that smart to prepare book and pen
for the artists to sign though. I bet that time I will buy an ice-cream
and watch them from far with so many questions mark in my head. Never know that I can get into this field of
media exposure/coverage as it all begins since I start blogging.
Blogging
might not be awesome for you, but thanks to blogging, it is the one that gave me so many
opportunities to meet awesome people around the world (eg. Samsung Global
Blogger London 2012) and chance to snap great photos of celebrities as
well! I specially love happy photos captured during event and concert as these made me smile.
If you are not happy with your current job now, think of what will you do if money doesn't matter to you. With that you will find something that you love to do and believe me, money will come later =) It's passion that drive you further, don't waste this chance of looking after it as you only live once! YOLO~
