The Twin Towers @live 2013 concert gathers DJs, fashion show, dance performances, local and international artistes for the party. Just yesterday Twin Towers Alive 2013 #TTAlive Day 1 featuring Demi Lovato, U-Kiss, Atilia, K-Town Clan, Project Elementz, Elecoldxhot, Stylo @live, DJ Face and many more!!
There was a heavy rain that made me skip certain part of the Stylo @live but I've tried my best to capture as much photos as I can before it get heavier. I feel bad for the fans who caught rain... Hopefully today will have enough rain coats distributed before the concert!
PS: Why this time Bomoh Hujan wasn't hired ar? Later 2NE1 better don't rain! But if rain I will stay there for photoshoot as well. Viva for life haha.

Last weekend was one of the most packed weekends for any KLite. The Sepang F1 Grand Prix was in town, along with the accompanying concert featuring Guns N' Roses. It was also the Earth Hour weekend, where many people turned off their lights for an hour in an attempt to save Mother Earth. Finally, there was the amazing Twin Towers @live 2013, a 2-day concert of massive proportions featuring a lineup which boasted of sizzling local and international acts such as KPOP sensations U-KISS & 2NE1, Demi Lovato, Backstreet Boys, Mizz Nina, K-Town Clan to name a few.
I had the opportunity to go for the Twin Towers @live 2013 thanks to the awesome Tian Chad (you are welcome haha), who roped me in as his writer to cover this event. This is probably the first event collaboration I have done with another blogger. As such, all the photos used in this post are all snapped by Tian Chad himself, because he has an awesome camera and his photography skills are top-notch.

We were there early, so we got to watch as the crowd did a mad rush into
the Fanzone area in front of the stage, girls screaming their hearts
and lungs out for the sweet Demi Lovato and their oppas, U-KISS. One
girl even fell down because she got too excited but she got back up
unharmed and continued screaming her way to the front of the stage. The
concert was also free for the public, most of whom stood patiently
behind the media zone waiting for their beloved acts to take stage.

The emcees Jin and Natalie from Hitz.fm were entertaining, throwing our posters, CDs and bandannas for the eager crowd to lap up. They kept the crowd's energy going on, long before the first act had even stepped on stage.

The event had a highlight, a generous free flow of precious, precious liquids to keep the concertgoers hyped up for whatever Twin Towers @live had in store for the rest of the evening.

The concert began with Project Elementz performing electrifying dances to liven up the crowd. While not many in the crowd could even imagine themselves performing the jaw-dropping dance moves, it still got the crowd pretty hyped up

Next up was local jazz singer Atilia, decked in a unique body-hugging dress topped off with a cute Minnie Mouse bow. She set the mood with her jazzy voice, singing renowned numbers like Selagi, Indah, and Sangkar to the delight of the crowd.

K-Town Clan, hailing from the distant lands of Kajang, then took the stage and upped the ante.

They put it one notch higher and performed energetic and catchy numbers like Backstreets Back and Trap Intro to make sure the crowd weren't falling asleep. How anyone could fall asleep during their rip-roaring performance is anyone's guess.

One of the highlights of the night, the KPOP boyband sensation U-KISS leapt onto the stage, to the adoring screams of the girls in the crowd.
True to their hype, the boys serenaded their loving fans with some of their signature songs like Never Land, Standing Still, and Someday. It was difficult to stand still because of the infectious beats and the slick dance moves. KPOP is KPOP indeed.

There was a brief interlude after U-KISS's performance, with the fashion show, Stylo @live taking center stage. I'd have to say that the fashion choices were pretty...um...unique in terms of their taste.
Which was probably why it started to rain heavily towards the end of the fashion show. It's definitely a case of raining on their parade.

It was close to 11:30pm when the stage darkened to the shrill yells of the crowd. The final performance of the night had fans delirious with delight.
Demi Lovato, on her maiden trip into Malaysia had the crowd eating out of her hand as she sang her hits Unbroken, Here We Go Again, La La Land, Skyscraper and her new single, Heart Attack. Her stage presence was amazing, and since she's 2 years younger than me, I feel extremely ashamed that I cannot command a stage like her. Definitely one of the most explosive performances of the night.

The night ended with DJ Face on the decks to cap off a fantastic night of fantastic performances. Twin Towers @live 2013 Day 1 was amazing, to say the least.
