| PETRONAS "5 Pillars of Happiness" CNY Campaign to benefit charity homes |
Courtesy of PETRONAS, I was invited along with a few blogger friends to attend the launch of PETRONAS 2013 CNY Campaign - 'Five Pillars of Happiness: A Celebration of Culture and Tradition'. The 'Five Pillars of Happiness' campaign takes the cue from the messages in customary getting on the morning of the lunar new year: wealth（禄）; longevity（寿）; health（康）; tranquility（宁）; and luck（福）; and where good fortune befalls when one wishes and does good deeds for others.

The launching was held at the lobby area of Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, Twin Towers KLCC. I like how the venue was decorated and the loveliest sight is the CNY deco on the chair!

PETRONAS group corporate affairs division senior general manager Ybhg Datuk Mohammad Medan Abdullah shared with us that when one wishes another good tiding, good will fall upon the person. Therefore in this year CNY, instead of just wishing the person luck and health, we can make a difference in society, by participating PETRONAS programme of pledging our support to six charity homes which have been identified from around Malaysia. Once the pledge has reached 25,000 pledges, PETRONAS will contribute in kind to the six homes.
The six homes that will be receiving the contributions are:
- Rumah Keluaga Kami in Kajang.
- Shelter Home in Petaling Jaya.
- Pusat Kanak-kanak Terencat Akal Bahagia in Malacca.
- Pusat Jagaan Pertubuhan Pengurusan Anak-anak Yatim dan Miskin Anning Ipoh.
- Rumah Kanak Kanak Kota Kinabalu.
- Sarawak Cheshire Home.

| PETRONAS 2013 CNY Short Film - 'Tau Fu Fah' |
In conjunction with the launch, PETRONAS also shared 2013 Chinese New Year Short Film named 'Tau Fu Fah'. It is a story about two persons who meet each other and started a journey that need to go through all the life's highs and lows together. It is the strong determination and perseverance that keeps them bounce back from any setbacks in life.
'Tau Fu Fah' can also be viewed as a short film teaching us how each of us can play a role in assuming collective responsibility to live and co-exist with one another in harmony; working together through trials and tribulations to ultimately take the nation forward.

To complete the CNY pledging campaign launch, colourful lion dance performance happened just at the outdoor area of Dewan Filharmonik Orchestra. There are five different lions who performed the challenging and exciting jumping move and you shouldn't have miss it if you were at KLCC the other day.
