My 2 Minutes Ice Cream Attempt – Like a Boss
Yo guys, I've been busy with some stuff and editing video has suddenly become part of my daily life as I am practicing my video editing skill now. You should have noticed that I’ve published quite a lot of videos recently if you've subscribed to my YouTube channel. [If you haven't, please subscribe now =D]
Just recently I saw a video of Taylor's School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts student, who managed to make ice cream in 2 minutes. The storyline of the video was depicting a heroine, trying to rescue her friend by using her Culinary skills to complete an impossible task under immense pressure.
The most interesting part is the fast freezing stage where she used dry ice to quickly freeze the mixture. Really Like-A-Boss yo! Watch Taylor's version before you watch mine:

Were you impressed as much as I (especially the freezing part)? I guess students’ in Taylor’s have acquired skills during their Culinary Arts studies. Bet their lecturers have that flare in making the industry interesting and appealing to their students. Anyhow, Culinary Arts is a fusion of arts and science, where one would experiments on how to bring the best out of any food preparations, whether it’s in terms of presentation or taste. =).
So I've decided to follow the steps of making ice-cream in 2 minutes using the dry ice. Invited Fluffy and Bunny (my house's two cute rabbits) as my video guests this time as there's not many people I can get to act in my video in such a short time! Now please check out how I make them ice-cream like a boss!

This is how I made my Ice Cream with dry ice =D |
That's how I 'make' my vanilla flavored ice cream and I manage to save Bunny!! Hope you guys liked the appearance of Fluffy and Bunny ya. The hardest part of recording this video was to have the rabbits do what you want them to do. In the end, I just checked out what I managed to film and added captions into the video.
As for the dry ices, you can actually get it from an ice factory (eg. Mox-Linde Factory selling dry ice at Jalan 222 PJ) or from Baskin Robbins especially when you buy a few pints of ice cream on 31st of the month.
The dry ice actually does works but for my case I will would have needed to get more dry ice to freeze the whole mixture fast =). An extra TIP: Crush the dry ice into powder form using a blender to improve the freezing process. Hope you had fun watching my video haha.

I just recently found out there are two more Like A Boss videos by Taylor's University and my personal favourite would be 'Managing Stakeholders Like a Boss'.
"Managing Stakeholders Like A Boss by Taylor’s Business School"
Enjoyed watching the above video? Maybe you should watch this one as well - 'Check-in Like A Boss' by Taylor’s School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts.
Among all four videos, which one is your favourite? =) Salute to Taylor's who came up with these Like A Boss videos to share some joy and inspired me to continue producing more videos. Comment below and tell me if it works for you by making the ice cream using dry ices! I would like to know!
Hope you like the appearance of Fluffy and Bunny! |
