Good News to Astro & Me: Astro On-The-Go Breaks World Records Three Times Over!

I won the new iPad from Astro On-The-Go blogging contest!!

First of all I would like to share good news with you guys as I've won a new iPad by just blogging about Nuffnang and Astro On-The-Go Pool party!! Thanks Astro and nuffnang =D You may want to read my winning entry here - "Astro On-The-Go Pool Party with Sporty Nuffnangers!" 

I've installed Astro On-The-Go to the iPad before I gave it to my mum =) She is really happy with this new gadget as she can now stalk me on Facebook and of course my blog hahaha.

Remember I shared this before? The “Where do YOU want Astro On-The-Go contest” ran from July to August 2012 as a promotional effort for Astro On-The-Go. With Astro On-The-Go you can enjoy non-stop entertainment anytime, anywhere via smartphones, tablets and laptops. Participants who shared their photos and garner votes has tried their best to win judges heart and this soemhow helped spread awareness and interest for this brand new technology. I would like to congratz all the winners below who bring back new iPads:

Between, do you guys remember the Astro On-The-Go Human iPad theatre? It is the combination of digital and on-ground initiative comprising of iPads and a mini flash mob all synced to create a mini theater featuring various key genres offered on Astro On-The-Go. And it's a first in Asia! The campaign ran from mid-June to July 2012 to various popular locations in Klang Valley and a compilation video of the Astro On-The-Go Human iPad theater has achieved more than 260,000 views in a month! Astro On-The-Go is now available on laptops, iOS and selected Android devices (eg. Samsung GALAXY S3), offering customers with immediate access to 12 Astro TV and 8 Radio Channels, LIVE Events, Video-On-Demand (VOD) and Catch Up TV. Good to know that Astro is going to expand the availability of Astro On-The-Go to more devices as well as adding on more channels in the near future.
