Volkswagen. Das Auto. Show 2012 @ KLCC and The Icon is Back!!

Here's a quick preview of what you will able to see in Volkswagen. Das Auto. Show 2012 @ Kuala Lumpur Convention Center this weekend. I went there today and was really amazed by the presentation of the Beetles in that hall! It is more action packed and I am sure you will like it once you saw it =D

Pre-registered visitors claiming their passes to Volkswagen. Das Auto. Show 2012

If you have already pre-registered for this event, all you need to do is go to the Info Desk counter to collect your passes. We were suppose to get a wristband that is used for Facebook Like feature in the Volkswagen Exhibition hall. instead of getting the wristband, we were given a numbered card.

Register on the spot just outside the venue

Most of the slots available has been fully booked but you can still drop by and register on the spot as most probably there will be some people who couldn't make it and the seats will be released to the public. Anyhow, it is always better to pre-register and go earlier to prevent disappointment. Me and my friends almost missed our slot just because of the traffic jam around KL. 

Show your email with the code and you will get a wristband/entry card.

How I wish we were given the wristband because we can scan it in the exhibition hall and use it for Facebook Share! For example if you like the Red bettle, you can just scan your barcode and it will pop-up on your Facebook page!

As you all know, Kuala Lumpur Convention Center is huge enough to fit 700++ people per sessions for Volkswagen. Das Auto. Show. It is different than the Dome @ Bukit Jalil. This time you'll surely feel comfortable in the hall and enjoy the show!

I find his shirt has a simple but meaningful message - "Creative creation created". I definitely agree with it after I watch the Volkswagen Show where you can see the Beetles doing some stunts!

Volkswagen users sharing their experience about their love to the car

The Volkswagen was started with several short clips including the history of Volkswagen together with Volkswagen's user personal sharing. After that, that's the time a synchronized dance performance begins.

It was fun looking at the dancers performing arts while synchronizing their dance to the screen. You will feels like it was their dance that made the screen move. Optimistic, I like!

Nice voice from the singer and she did a great combination with The Beetles and dancers.

Sooner after the dance The Icons is Back in several colors. She sang quite well and what amazed me is the performance she did together with the dancers and The Beetles. Some of the beetles speed up and did some cool stunts together with the dancers. I've recorded a few videos instead of just taking photos. Will upload the videos as soon as possible.

Five different color Volkswagen Icon is now awaiting you to capture their beautiful pictures.

You can spot the five beetles at the Das Auto. Show exhibition hall. Inside there have tons more Volkswagen automotive showcased in that area.

Haha, funny moments was when I saw a guy waving to me and apparently he is my friend who always do awesome car shows!! Nice to see you again! =)

Volkswagen Polo

Once you've reach the exhibition hall, you will able to take your time to experience many stuff available inside. A series of Volkswagen car being showcased, you can take photo at the photo-booth, do some racing, buy VW merchandise and collect some chop to win mini prizes.

Volkswagen. Das Auto. 2012 Passport to redeem some VW gifts

Once you step inside the exhibition hall, you'll be given this card to collect stamps then use it to collect some mini gifts. There will be total 6 stamps to be collected. This is the place where you will able to sit and take photos with all the Volkswagen automotive exhibited here. TSI DSG, Sedan, Recreational series and of course The Beetles!

Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet opening up his top wing

There is a long stretch of stage where different Volkswagen cars will be showcased on there. The one at the center will be twisted so that you can see 360 degrees of the whole car. i personally like this Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet because it can open up the top while spinning around. Sure cool to drive it around the town or for a roadtrip!

Besides showcasing the car, there will me models catwalk and dance performance happening on the stage depending on their schedule. Thanks to my buddy Ivan who told me about the model catwalk! Just lucky to able to snap them haha.

You will able to see a series of Volkswagen cars coming out from the side and being showcased on the stage for a limited time. Hope you spotted your favourite Volkswagen!

Little Bugsters - A corner for children to spend their time waiting for parents to enjoy the Das Auto. Show

Some of the kids will feel happy because the Volkswagen girls will hold their hand and draw together. Especially boys, Hahaha

Racing game with your favourite Volkswagen GTI Edition 35

There's booth for family photos and also for you to play racing games. The queue for photo booth was too long so I've decided to skip it. i was more to capture more photos for you guys to see =)

If you are lucky enough to get the wristbands for FB Likes. All you need to is to scan the barcodes on the Volkswagen that you like and it should be shown up on your Facebook wall =)

Some merchandises that a Volkswagen fan should bring back

Before leaving Volkswagen. Das Auto. Show 2012, remember to get some merchandize or souvenirs from there =) There's a lot car models and shirts++ for you to choose at the Collection counter. Once you take the exit, spot the other three Beetles that were being showcased outdoor.

Volkswagen lend us their umbrella when it rained

Thanks to Volkswagen Malaysia nobody get wet when the sky rained. How I wish I could bring back the umbrella! ;p Overall, Volkswagen. Das Auto. Show 2012 @ KLCC has given us a great experience especially the performance held at the main hall featuring - "The Icon is Back". You wouldn't want to miss a chance to enjoy the show! Looking forward for Volkswagen. Das auto. Show 2013 and hopefully there will be something new again to amaze us!
