Courtesy of
MasterCard, I was invited along with
Tey Cindy to experience the
MasterCard VIP Lounge at Singapore Indoor Stadium and the
Great Singapore Sale 2012. Which concert was it? It was none other than 'Lady Gaga | Born This Way Ball'! I remember I blogged about it in February but never thought that I would have chance to go to her concert. All thanks to MasterCard!
To be honest, this is my first time taking flight to Singapore. Early in the morning, I took a cab to KLIA and then we flew to Singapore using
Silk Air. It was really comfortable and you can have your own sky view through your window seat. With just 40 minutes in the air you've arrive in Singapore!

Bright blue sky with great aerial view of Singapore Sea. |
MasterCard sure has it covered - What surprised me was the prearranged airport pick-up to
Fairmont Hotel in a Bentley! Not forgetting to mention about the driver who gave us a smooth ride to the hotel.

All thanks to MasterCard for this amazing hotel room that's just for myself to enjoy! =D
After we checked into our room, we went to
Asian Market Cafe for buffet lunch. You don't need to go out and find famous food in Singapore as they are all available here! Before that we went to the nearest telco shop to get a 3G Prepaid SIM Card. That's how I manage to do live update/tweeting during our MasterCard VIP Tour.
|
You should get a 3G Prepaid SIM Card for cheaper local call/SMS and data plan! |
|

I had my seafood galore here and was super duper happy when I saw a big bowl of freshly cooked
Singapore Chili Crab on the table. I got myself a huge pincer! *rawr*

Since we got free time until 6pm, Cindy and I walked to the nearby
Asian Civilisations Museum and never thought that there was so much stuff to check out with just $8 entrance fees. You will able to see tons of gold made antiques in their gallery and learn more about Singapore's history. Below are some of the photos:
|
We passed by Singapore river and got a view of all their tall city buildings. We were also lucky enough to see the fair and white Armenian Church |
|
Statue of Sir Stamford Raffles & stylo Tey Cindy haha |

Tons of statues inside the museum. Some are unique but some are creepy |

A quick city walk around the huge field. |

Thank you Wilson for bringing us walking around the town before we head back to Fairmont Hotel. |
After a short break at the hotel, we met other media and personalities from BeiJing (Wilson and
Chelsey), Thailand (Kristy and Pam) and Hong Kong (Benny), Philippine (Angela) and Indonesia (Oky). Happy to know that we were all escorted together to the
Singapore Flyer to catch the sunset and the awesome city view! From here you can basically see all the Singapore landmarks in a 30 minutes ride. We used our time effectively to snap as many photos as we could. That's the time we were introduced and greeted to each other too! Pleasure to meet you all!
|
Thanks to MasterCard for leading us here. |
|
The best time to be at Singapore Flyer is during the sunset hour. That
day the weather was kinda cloudy so we didn't manage to catch a
beautiful sunset. however it was fun to have a brilliant sky view of
Singapore city. |
|
Art Museum, Esplanade, Floating and colourful platform where I watched the Singapore F1 Live in there last year ;p |

I had a nice bath after we were back in hotel and the bed is so comfortable that I decided to stick on it till the next morning. I was amazed with the remote control beside my bed where I can just switch on lights, music or even open/close the curtains. That's just awesome! Thank you again MasterCard for this priceless experience =)
