Girls’ Generation Singapore Tour 2011 [Contest by Universal Music]
The wait has just been made shorter and sweeter. The much-anticipated number 1 Asian Girl Group's first solo concert in Singapore "2011 Girls’ Generation Tour” will be held on 9 December, 8pm at the Singapore Indoor Stadium!
Girls’ Generation consists of nine girls in their 20s and they’ve hit a global phenomenon with their dance moves, saccharine-sweet smiles and slender long legs. The nine members: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun. They are often referred to as SNSD, an acronym of the group’s Korean name So Nyuh Shi Dae.
2011 Girls’ Generation Tour in Singapore will showcase a 3-hour visual treat of sexily choreographed dance moves, along with a visual play of effects including laser beams, LED screens, trapezes and elevated platforms.
The popular nine-member girl group will perform across two stages and strut along three passageways, where audience can expect the girls to tease and amuse from every angle in both group and solo acts. Right in the thick of the action are three mosh pits submerged in the middle of the stage, catering for over 2,000 standing audience who will be able to meet the girls up-close.
Ticket Prices*:
▪ Mosh pit: $218
▪ Terrace: $218
▪ Balcony: $168
▪ Partially Restricted View: $168
*all prices not inclusive of $3 Sistic fee
Please note that there is a age limit for the concert:
▪ For mosh pit, you'd need to be 12 and above
▪ For other tickets, you'd need to be 8 and above
Ticketing Details:
Priority Booking Period
▪ There will be a 2-day priority booking period commencing on 2 Nov Wednesday, exclusive to Samsung and/or OCBC customers.
▪ Sales will start at 10am across all channels.
▪ Samsung mobile/ tablet customers would need to flash their devices at any SISTIC counters to purchase tickets;
▪ OCBC credit & debit card members can purchase tickets via online, phone booking or over any SISTIC counter by using their respective cards.
▪ The card(s) must be issued in Singapore.
▪ There is a limit of 4 tickets per transaction, regardless of which platform you purchase the ticket(s) from.
The discounts offered during the priority booking period are as follow:
▪ 1st 250 tickets purchased by Samsung mobile/tablet customers at any SISTIC counters are entitled to a 5% discount.
▪ 1st 250 tickets purchased by OCBC card members via online, phone booking or over any SISTIC counters by using their respective cards are entitled to a 5% discount.
▪ There is a limit of 4 tickets per transaction, regardless of which platform you purchase the ticket(s) from.
Public Sales
▪ Public sales will commence on 4th November, Friday
▪ Tickets can be bought online via the SISTIC website (http://www.sistic.com.sg) from 10am;
▪ Tickets can be bought over any SISTIC counters or via phone booking from 10am.
▪ There is a limit of 4 tickets per transaction, regardless of which platform you purchase the ticket(s) from.
General FAQ
1. Will there be a ticket launch event?
No, there will not be a ticket launch event. Priority booking starts on 2nd November and public sales start 4th November. If you decide to queue, please note that this is at your own discretion and RITS does not hold responsibility on the control of the queue.
2. Can I choose my seat(s)?
Unfortunately, you cannot choose your seats. You can only choose your preferred block or mosh pit pen. There will be seat numbers printed on your ticket (it is not free seating). When you purchase tickets, SISTIC’s system will choose the best available seating at the point of transaction. Only mosh pit (standing) tickets are free standing within the individual pens (Pen A, Pen B or Pen C).
3. Is there any discount?
The following discounts are available during the priority booking period
▪ 1st 250 tickets purchased by Samsung mobile/ tablet customers at any SISTIC counters are entitled to a 5% discount;
▪ 1st 250 tickets purchased by OCBC card members via online, phone booking or over any SISTIC counters by using their respective cards are entitled to a 5% discount.
4. How many tickets can I purchase?
Each person is entitled to a maximum of 4 tickets only per transaction.
5. Is there any age limit?
Children below 12 years are not allowed into Mosh Pit pens.
Children below 8 years old are not allowed into the Terrace, Balcony and Partially-restriced seats.
6. Is there anyway possible that I am allowed to access the backstage to see my favourite girls?
Backstage access is not allowed at all times.
7. Will there be a fan meet, or any event where I can meet the girls up close?
Sorry, there will not be any of such events during their visit to Singapore this time round.
8. What are the modes of payment?
For online and hotline booking, only credit cards and debit cards. The debit card must be able to do online transactions. If you are not sure if your debit card can be used for online transactions, you'll have to check with your bank.
9. How can overseas fans purchase the tickets?
Overseas fans can purchase the tickets online through the SISTIC website (www.sistic.com.sg) from 10am (GMT +8:00) on 4th November. Alternatively, regional fans can purchase tickets at overseas ticketing partners- go to www.sistic.com.sg and click on 'Agents' for a list of outlets in Malaysia and Indonesia.
10. Are there any limits to what kind of tickets I can purchase?
No, you can purchase tickets from any category. Age restrictions apply (please see point 5).
11. I bought the Terrace tickets and it says row 15, am I seated all the way at the back?
Nope! The first rows of the Terrace block ranges from 11-13.
12. Will I be able to see the girls clearly if I purchase the Partially-Restricted View tickets?
The girls will constantly be running and flying around, we’ll definitely be able to see them.
13. Will the mosh pit tickets be numbered like how it was for the Seoul and Taipei concert?
Unfortunately, SISTIC is unable to print serial numbers on the tickets for this purpose. We’re sorry that we are unable to adopt that system.
14. Can I use a foreign OCBC card?
Sorry, only OCBC cards issued in Singapore is accepted.
15. I have an OCBC debit card issued in Singapore, can I use it for priority booking?
Yes you can!
PS: Black Market Tickets will be strictly monitered and recorded on thieir end. If you proceed to buy any black market tickets, do note you will be asked for an ID check at the door, and they reserve the right to refuse entry at door.
Moreover, this album will not only be circulated throughout the US, but Europe, South America, and other parts of the world, so the album is expected to receive an enthusiastic response from global fans.
Also, Girls’ Generation, who changed the comeback date to further strengthen the marketing of their worldwide promotion, decided to release the new album ‘The Boys’ through various music stores including iTunes on October 19th.
On the same day, the music video of ‘The Boys’ will be released worldwide through YouTube SMTOWN channel and facebook SMTOWN page in addition to the release of the third album in Korea so October 19th will be so-called ‘Girls Generation DAY.’
Girls’ Generation’s new song ‘The Boys’ is written, composed and arranged by one of the world’s three producer, Teddy Riley, who was Michael Jackson’s producer. Since the song contains refined beat, sound and melody, Teddy Riley’s work with Girls’ Generation is expected to fascinate global music fans.
