Win RM10,000 @ Nescafe Chill-Lah Express Contest!

Holla guys!! Nescafe has come up with another interesting contest for us to win cash up to RM10,000 and this is a chance to get your design featured as the limited edition Nescafe series nationwide! Isn't that really cool?! =D

What are the prizes?

1st Prize: RM10,000 cash + Design featured as limited edition nationwide
2nd Prize: RM 8,000 cash
3rd Prize: RM5,000 cash
Top 20 Finalist: RM500 each

So since I have a few talented cells in my brain, I've decided to challenge myself to create a new design for Nescafe Package at Nescafe Chill-Lah Page on Facebook! Remember to login your Facebook account.

First you need to choose your favourite theme:

Street Grunge, Retro, Urban Chic, Wall Street, Glam Rock or Wild Thing

Remember to read their terms and conditions before start drawing. I choose Street Grunge as my style of expression. You gotta be really cautious or else you will need a lot of time to draw out your design.

Here are some tips for you:

• Choose the right theme. There are many theme and logo that you can use to design. But choose one that is easy for you to express your wild imagination.
  
• Design the background first. Because that's the first layer you wanna decorate with and new pattern or shape inserted will be on top of it.
• Click on the correct pattern. Make sure you are pointing on the right pattern before click or move it. Because if you accidentally clicked on the background, all your design on top of it will go beneath it and you need to design it again!
• SAVE your designs. Remember to save your design before you click 'View AR' or else it won't be saved. Just in case you did a wrong step you can always recover using your saved file.
• Be patient. If you want a good design, draw your design slowly and carefully.
• Drink Nescafe. So you are awake and focused!
  

This is my first layer of background. It is better to have simple background

50% finished Nescafe design. Try to put some patterns around the word "NESCAFE" to make it stand out. For example, I placed star shapes striking patterns to accentuate the word "NESCAFE".

The interesting part of this contest is that you can reveal your design in 3D as long you have a web-cam.

Hold your Nescafe Can not further than 20cm for it to detect the can. Then slowly move it to the desired location. Then you can remove your can and your design image will stay there. You can then use the arrow keys on your keyboard to adjust left/right and choose the best angel to show your design.

3,2,1 snap. Remember to submit your correct info or else will be disqualified. Nescafe will email you whether your entry is qualified. If yes, it will appear in the gallery =)
