View Rooftop Bar @ G Tower with Breathtaking Views of KL

A cocktail and vodka tasting session was held at the View Rooftop Bar last Saturday and bloggers were invited along for this session! It is great to find out a new place for people to hang out after whole day working in the office.

View Rooftop Bar offers breathtaking panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur and sunsets over the montanic horizon of Jalan Ampang. Ideal for romantic interludes, glamorous cocktail parties and unforgettable events, VIEW offers the most unique chill-out option.


View Rooftop bar is located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) next to Ampang Park LRT station and against a backdrop of the iconic Twin Towers, View Rooftop Bar offers 3 distinctive sized rooms for you to choose from; the cocktails lounge, whiskey lounge and champagne lounge. These rooms are able to accommodate a varying capacity ranging from anywhere between 200 to 500 people.

Fine food were served before the cocktail tasting session and desserts provided were really nice! You are always advised to have some food first before drinking, or else you will be the dizzy/passed out guy.

Just outside the Champagne Lounge we can sit here and enjoy the night view. It ism one of the best place to release tension and hangout with friends!

That night 6 different vodkas were mixed with none other than ABSOLUT VODKA
You must first have at least one shot of pure Absolut Vodka so that it activate your taste buds =)

We've tried:

• ABSOLUT Apple Rosemary Martini: contains 50ml of Absolut, 4 fresh strawberries, 6 basil leaves and 100ml of lemon JC.

• ABSOLUT Strawberry Basil Smash: contains 50ml of Absolute, ice, 4 fresh strawberries, 6 basil leaves and 100ml of lemon JC.

• ABSOUT Passion Tini: contains 50ml of Absolute, 30ml of Passion fruit, 20ml of Lemon JC and 15ml Vanilla Syrup. Finish off with vanilla bud on the side of the glass.
  

• ABSOLUT Cinnamon Martini: contains 50ml of Absolute, Half green apple, 15ml of sugar syrup, 15ml of lemon JC and a Pinch of Cinnamon powder.

• ABSOLUT South Beach: contains 50ml of Absolute, 25ml of Lemon JC, 20ml of Sugar Syrup and 8 Mint Leaves.
  

• ABSOLUT Pineapple Cardamon Martini: contains 50ml of Absolute, 15ml of Cardamon sugar syrup, 50ml of Pineapple JC and 3 pieces of Cardamon seeds.

Now you guys know how to make your ABSOLUT VODKA taste better with various new flavors!

My personal favourite is ABSOLUT Strawberry Basil Smash. It is not easy to make cocktail after I witness it myself. First you need to smash the fruits and other ingredient then only mix with other ingredients. The drink will only taste nicely through the arts of professional mixology ;p

All thanks to the mixologists especially Rizal Junior, the Head of Mixologist in View Rooftop Bar for teaching us and telling us all 6 recipe. Thanks to Azrin and Randy for serving us drinks on request too!

People say they can't see stars in the city but View Rooftop bar's Champagne room is decorated with colourful starry night =) A great ambient.

Talking about the music, at first I thought they are playing the CD but they prove me wrong once I saw him performed live when I heading to the toilet. There will be Dj playing in the house too. You can catch DJ HuM every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night while DJ Eddy L every Friday night at View Rooftop bar.

With great drinks, live music, awesome ambient and sporty friends, I am sure you will enjoy yourself at View Rooftop bar =)

Rizal Junior, the head of Mixologist in View Rooftop Bar had a taste buds challenge for some of us. We need to guess what ingredient was mixed with the vodka and everyone were fooled by the syrup haha.
