BERRYBOW & WAO Charity Fashion Launch Party @ Gardens

BERRYBOW, an exclusive online women's fashion boutique, has made its mark on Malaysia's fashion landscape with thr showcasing of its new Bright & Bold collection in a charity event launch on June 11 2011 @ Gardens Hotel.



Admission to the event was open to the public and by ticket purchase, with 40 percent of ticket sales proceeds channeled to the Women's Aid Organisation (WAO). Each ticket was priced at RM150. On that day a total of RM8,400 was raised for WAO through this fashion charity event.

In turn, the proceeds collected will be used by WAO to sustain its work in helping battered women and children lead violence-free lives.

Low Ngai Yuen, founder of Kakiseni that presented MANifesto Life Sdn Bhd 6: ABUSE [Women:100] was the emcee of the night.

Ivy Josiah, Executive Director of WAO gave a speech thanking BERRYBOW for this event and a helping hand to Women's Aid Organisation (WAO)

Wong Chui Ling was there to support the event as well =)

Michelle Chong, BERRYBOW's principal said: " I was very happy and very thankful to WAO for providing us with this opportunity. I've been looking forward to this day ever since. I do know opportunity like this don't come very often and I count my blessings."

All right here comes the catwalk and launching of BERRYBOW Bright and Bold Collection. The catwalk first lead by Amber Chia. Followed by Amber Chia Academy students and members of WAO

Amber Chia is definitely good at posing and can pose for numerous cameras. Since this catwalk is the combination of students from Amber Chia academy and members of WAO. You will see the difference between trained and volunteer model =) Apologies for my earlier comment.
