Sunway Pyramid Earth Hour 2011: Before N After

Sunway Integrated Resort City presents 60 Earth Hour 26 March 2011

My first met with Sunway group was during My Selangor Story Blogging Contest. That time I was having great fun especially in Sunway Lagoon Outdoor Themepark. See my Bungee Jump video here.

On 26th March 2011, we are having something special just for Sunway and TianChad.com reader. I grabbed the chance to snap photos of Sunway Pyramid switching off their lights during Earth Hours. Three different locations to shoot in just one hour time!

First I drop by the Earth Hour venue just infront of Sunway Pyramid lion head. RinaOmar was the emcee of a programme. Have you seen all the colourful signature behind Rina? Malaysia have lots of creative peeps =)

So I visited this room in Sunway Pyramid Tower Hotel because I am gonna stay there for one night because Sunway love me so much!!

*just kidding*

Through the balcony of the hotel room, this is the view of Sunway Pyramid that I saw.
Can you see the Pyramid and the infamous Lion's butt? *tsk tsk*

Clock striked 8.30pm, it's Earth Hour time!! Here is the pyramid and Lion head with their light switched off.

Long exposure were used to capture the mild lights reflected to the pyramid. Which explain the sudden bright lights from other building around.

Here's the lion that lost his "roar" when lights were switched off.

The whole stretch of street lights were switched off

Then I went downstair to check Sunway Pyramid Earth Hour Venue again and there were some kids act as tigers

Candles were lit up. Spot the smiling face =)

There were "Wayang Kulit" @Puppet Show going on with people singing song at the background
The message: To love the Earth while we can

So I departed to the 3rd location which I don't really know which part has switched off their lights. This is the view of Sunway Lagoon Outdoor Themepark at night.

Then I figured out this part is quite dark and expect to see something here
*During Earth hour while lights were switched off*

Tada! After 9.30pm the lights were switched back on, here is how Sunway Pyramid should look like during night.

And the street lights lead us the way

Here is picture of me, Jocelyn from Sunway and Mutu from Indah Villa who brought us up to the rooftop for the best night view of Sunway Pyramid and Sunway Lagoon. Yay shining gold Sunway Pyramid behind~!

Nearly to the end of Sunway Earth Hour event. Went back there just for the board where everyone has put their signature on.
