Have Own Avatar When Comment On Blog- Gravatar

Ever wonder why some people can have nice photo when comment on blog while Kracken or other monster display as your photo avatar? Let's see the example below, this was captured from Ringo's blog:

Three cute "monsters" readers from Singapore and Malaysia. It seems like not much people know how to get a better looking photo of themselves, so I decided to share something today. To make you look prettier/more handsome than a monster. Here is the way:

Gravatar - A Globally Recognized Avatar

Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?

How to have own avatar when comment on blog/website?

Step 1: Go to www.gravatar.com and insert your favorable email address. They will send you a confirmation email. Do double check your spam mail cos it might be send to there.

Step 2: Click on the confirmation link then you are able to upload/link your picture (any size, they can compress it).



Step 3: Crop your photo and choose the suitable size. Because in the end it will still be resized into a smaller Gravatar thumbnail.

Step 4: Choose the correct rating, cos some people tends to upload their photo that reveal cleavage (whether top/bottom) and need to be X rated.

Step 5: Create one now and share it with friend as you can have your own good looking thumbnail instead of just a "TC" thumbnail when comment on my blog =D
