iRiver Cover Story Official Launch @ All IT Hypermarket

After having fun @ Berjaya TimeSquare Theme Park with some Nuffnangers, me and a few friends head to All IT Hypermarket [LowYat Plaza 3rd Floor] for the iRiver Cover Story Launch.

This is the iRiver Story, first time see it and it is kinda thin and fair. iRiver story utilizes the E-ink film display technology to provide the same experience as reading on printed paper.

That day was the launch of iRiver Cover Story - A brand new e-book reader with touch screen. It is equipped with improved portability and user interface. Although the display comes in the same size of 15.24cm (6-inch), without a keyboard, it has the ideal size and weight for one-handed use. In addition, an 8-grayscale e-ink display on a 15.24cm screen recreates the same appearance as printed paper.

iRiver Cover Story has long battery life upto 11,000 pages, installed with Oxford English Dictionary, Auto Screen Rotation G-Sensor, and you can purchase the E-Book and download directly to Cover Story via Wi-Fi.

One thing I like about iRiver Cover Story would be the hand writing & memo ability. I can just ask the celebrity that I met throughout the blogging trip to sign directly on the e-book. No need to worry about the writing fades away day by day and can show off to friends with just one small gadget.

You can personalize your iRiver Cover Story with 6 different colours magnetic cover.[White, Yellow, Pink, Red, Green and Black]. The cover is stylish and magnetic enough to protect the screen.

So, do you like the design of iRiver? My personal opinion about iRiver Cover Story is that if you want to have something different than iPad, don't really care about the plain colours and just like to read many book with longer battery life (Because of the E-Ink technologies). iRiver e-book reader could suit you =)
