Arthur's Day Artists Line Up: Sean Kingston, Flo Rida and Colby O'Donis

Yesterday afternoon I went to Arthur's Day Media Launch @ Menara Milenium. Thanks Nuffnang for the invite =) There are bad and good news for coming Arthur's Day.

Mark Jenner, Marketing Director of Guinness Anchor Marketing Sdn Bhd was there to bring us the updated news about Arthur's Day event.

Bad news is, Timbaland would not be able to perform on Arthur's Day due to unforeseen circumstances.

Good news is, we have new lines up for upcoming Arthur's Day @ Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. Performing artists including Flo Rida, Sean Kingston, Colby O'Donis, Mizz Nina, Thaitanium, Pop Shuvit, Melissa Indot, DJ Fuzz.

Rapper Flo Rida is a Carol City native who is dubbed as the new 'It' man of hip-hop, and it's easy to see why. With his award-winning hit, “Low”, featuring T-Pain which won the People’s Choice Awards, Flo Rida has been setting fire to the dance floor with his latest single “Club Can’t Handle Me Now” featuring music DJ David Guetta. The hit song is also the soundtrack for this season latest dance flick, Step Up 3.

The road that leads him to the platform he is on now was never easy; in fact it was a struggle. The rapper was born on December 16, 1979 under the name Tremar Dillard.

Flo Rida received worldwide acclaim and popularity with the chart-topping success of his first single, "Low", featuring T-Pain. It was his first official single from his debut album Mail On Sunday and the soundtrack to the movie Step Up 2 The Streets. "Low" reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Elevator", featuring Timbaland, "In the Ayer" featuring will.i.am, and "Roll" featuring Sean Kingston followed and all charted on the Hot 100 and other charts.

After the success of Mail on Sunday, Flo Rida made guest performances on other R&B, rap, and pop singles, including "Move Shake Drop" by DJ Laz, "We Break the Dawn" by Michelle Williams, the remix of "4 Minutes" by Madonna, "Running Back" by Australian R&B singer Jessica Mauboy, "Feel It" by DJ Felli Fel, and the remix of "Speedin'" by Rick Ross.

During the summer of 2008, he did live performances on the Fox dance competition program So You Think You Can Dance in the US and 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada. He appeared on the albums We Global by DJ Khaled, Gutta by Ace Hood, and The Fame by Lady Gaga, among others.

Sean Kingston, Jamaican American singer was born and raised in Miami but spent part of his childhood in Jamaica. He returned to the U.S. to pursue a music career and debut his first album 2007 with his self titled Sean Kingston.

This 20 year old is already making waves in the music industry with his hits song and successful collaborations with renowned and upcoming artists.

His first hit tune, “Beautiful Girls” took Malaysia and the world by storm and he has been pumping more and more chart topping music ever since. His music has featured artists such as T-Pain, Kanye West, Fergie and the very catchy and “Eenie Meenie” which is also feature on Justin Bieber’s album “My World 2.0” is still currently on the Top 100 charts.

Sean Kingston is the co-writer for Jason Derulo’s “Whatcha Say”, which also made it to the top within weeks. He was also responsible to the signing of singer Iyaz whom he spotted on MySpace to his record label.

Colby O’Donis started his musical debut from the young tender age of three years old where he won his first place in a talent competition where he performed as Michael Jackson.

It was at age 10 when he really showed the world what he had to offer when he became the youngest recording artist ever to sign with Motown Records. He did a song for the movie Stuart Little called “Mouse in the House." By age 14, this star was opening shows for major recording artists including Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync.

Born in Queens, New York City, to Puerto Rican parents, O'Donis was reportedly singing before he could talk. After his family moved to Florida when he was eight, he learned to play guitar, and by the time he was nine he was already working with the production and songwriting team Full Force and had a song, "Mouse in the House," included on the soundtrack to the movie Stuart Little.

Hit latest single with Malaysia’s very own Mizz Nina has clawed its way to the top and is here to stay. Colby O’Donis was featured on Lady Gaga’s debut single, "Just Dance", earning him a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 50th Grammy Awards. In 2009, he won Best Dance Recording at the Teen Choice Awards with Lady Gaga
