Kem Modal Insan Agro-Tourism Homestay (Melaka): Part 3 - Twilight Edward in the House

In the day we already had fun doing all the activity such as catch eel with bare hand, rubber tapping, hunt for durian+++ You can read Part II of my Melaka Homestay here. So at night after dinner we still have program at night.

We went to a place nearby paddy field, and a large fish pond for people to fish.

There is a stall selling foods beside the pond where fishing contest is going on.

Here is the night view where we were there to see the performance. It is really cooling at night and relaxing when you listen to the insect "chit-chat" at night. Watch the video below to listen to the sounds of nature ;p

"The sounds of nature in Kampung"

People busy fishing at night to be the lucky one and win RM800.

If you are a villager here, fishing is one of their main entertainment at night. That's how they spend their night.

Just before we go the another place a person manage to get a big fish. It was then released back to the pond again after recorder its weight and score.

Nearby there has a restaurant on the paddy field - D'Bendang (In Sungai Rambai)

Another entertainment at night would be the Karaoke here. You can get your favourite old Malay song on the list.

This is the musician group that performed at night. Very classical Malay's Traditional music I can say.

Rebecca was so hardworking in blogging. She brought along her laptop to blog and thank god have DiGi Broadband coverage in that area =D *salute her for the blogging spirit*

A group of young lady perform classical dance in pink clothes.

They actually dance in dark~

And thanks to good internet coverage , they know how to sing Justin Bieber's "Baby baby baby oh~...". This place sooner or latter won't be so kampung already la I think.

After the girls is the performance done by boys who do Silat Melayu.

There is a batman/ultraman covering his eye with hand as mask

Have some martial fighting show with a knife as prop, made of wood of course =)

Spotted this bug everywhere in the place and it was a bit unlucky being stepped on the ground.

By the hopping dancer who did a lot of dance ar.

Natural posing can always come out as nice photo =D
*Snapped Feeq without his notice*

And Nigel Tee can be funny too =p

We were invited for a dance too. Too bad I don't know how to dance =S

After finished enjoy all the show, we go to the nearby cafe "da bao" Milo. Really got kampung taste lo. Haha!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, I was back to home and spotted something flying in the house. Can you spot it?
It has a pair of blinking eyes like Edward from Twilight Eclipse
I was trying to snap Edward's photo while he is flying
But Edward choose to stick on the wall and show me stunned eyes
Anyhow Edward is still being catch by my Nikon D90 after multiple try =D
*It would be a nice shoot if I aim higher*
That's the end for the night experience I got from Melaka Homestay. Next post, I will share with you how lucky I am to witness a goat giving birth, how to refine paddy to rice and much much more! Stay tune on my blog by subscribe to TianChad @ 永遇乐 or follow @TianChad on Twitter.
  1. I scared of bats. Still remember there's once, a bat suddenly flying into my classroom, and then all of us ran like crazy, and the teacher shouted also. LOL
