As per Wiki, Swine Flu or Swine influenza (also called swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu) is an infection of a host animal by any one of several specific types of microscopic organisms called "swine influenza virus".

What are the symptoms of Swine Flu?
That's a bit tricky and misleading part. Since the symptoms of H1N1 virus are quite similar to that of the seasonal flu virus, they sometime make it really difficult to detect and worst is that the patient is confused and afraid whether he/ she has got normal flu or is it the deadly Swine Flu. Though we are listing the symptoms of Swine Flu below, please ensure that you check with proper medical tests at an appropriate medical hospital or facility.

Symptoms of Swine Flu include;
* fever,

* diarrhea
* vomiting.

What are the precautions to be taken if one is detected with any of the above mentioned symtoms that matches Swine Flue or H1N1?
First of all, dont panic and take medical advice from an authorized doctor or physician. Though the symptoms may match, there is no certainity that you are definitely affected by Swine Flu. Be cautious of your actions and below is some important information for you:

1. If you are not feeling well, please stay at home instead of going to work. Remeber, its a contagious disease and may affect hundreds and thousands if you come out in open.

2. If you believe you have come in close contact with someone who has the flu symptoms, you are advised to test for the viral infection and to "self quarantine" for four days after the contact. Close contact includes caring for a person who has the flu, having direct contact or being within six feet for a prolonged time.

3. If you are returning to your home country from a swine flu affected country like USA, Mexico, etc., please pay close attention to listed symptoms for 4-5 days after return. In case of any symptoms, please get medical advice. This cautionary step is in the best interest of your colleagues, your family and friends.

4. If you are diagnosed with H1N1 you should remain away from work until you are symptom free for 24 to 48 hours.

5. Please take these simple steps to protect your health
